Description:

The original building of two Syriac inscriptions reused at as-Safīra. The shape of one of the inscriptions support (plaque from a chancel screen) gave the editors the basis to surmise that it came from a church – perhaps at as-Safīra or at the nearby settlement of el-Mouʿallaq.
