The text is situated with the ornamental mosaic in the hexagonal frame composed of a single line of black tesserae. The first three lines of a longer inscription, about two lines missing. Dimensions: 20 cm high , 35 cm wide. ed. CIIP IV 3871 דכיר יושוע יודן דיהב [--] dkyr ywšwʿ ywdn [--] dyhb 'Be remembered Yoshuʿa Yudan … who gave …' commentary: This inscription commemorated a single donation, as indicated by dkyr and the singular verb. However, Beyer reconstruct a name: Essai איסי in the beginnings of the third line.
