Description
date: 5th-6th century description: A Greek dedicatory inscription within a wreath, flanked by two lions. The mosaic floor located in the central panel of the first (westernmost) band of the mosaic in the nave. Most of the texts is missing. Fragments of 3 lines are preserved. The characters are 5 cm high. ed. Leah Di Segni in Weiss 2005: 209 [Ἐποίη-] [σεν] [...] ος [...] ου. Εὐλ[ογ-] ία αὐτ[ῶ.] '[So-and-so (son) of so-and-so made (this)].
