Description
date: 5th-6th century description: JPA dedicatory inscription of the son of Aninah. Three lines of Aramaic text on the upper margin of the left-most part of the Band 4. The upper right corner of the inscription is destroyed. The panel depicts animals for the perpetual (daily) sacrifice. ed. Amen.' commentary: The proposed reconstruction of the line 3 reflects the Aramaic translation of the belssing formula from the Greek dedicatory inscriptions that were found in the other panels of the same mosaic.
