Amen.' commentary: (as in IIP sepp0004) The name Taddai is the Aramaic form of Greek Theodoros, Theodotos, or Theodotion. The grandfather's name is less clear; it is either an unattested form derived from an early, perhaps Biblical, name, or it is actually a title given him, "captor," as an Aramaic active participle.
