date: 5th-6th century CE description: Samaritan Aramaic inscription on mosaic in the northern part of the main praying hall, in front of the place where the bema and Ark must have been situated. A single line of Samaritan script, black tesserae against a white background decorated with the geometrical patter (triangles, diamonds). Dots are used as word dividers. Dimensions: ca. 62x187 cm.
