Jarry) commentary: Jarry believed that this was a mention of a liturgical vestment, and that the inscription was inspired by a liturgical text. Since the reading is very tentatives, and we had no good photograph to verify it, it is difficult to judge on the plausibility of this identification. Since the text is so poorly edited, Klaus Peter Todt and Bernard Andreas Vest give no commentary in TIB 15.

‘…. chasuble ….’
(tr. J. Jarry)
Commentary
Jarry believed that this was a mention of a liturgical vestment, and that the inscription was inspired by a liturgical text. Since the reading is very tentatives, and we had no good photograph to verify it, it is difficult to judge on the plausibility of this identification. Since the text is so poorly edited, Johannes Koder gives no commentary in TIB 15.
