el-Hémer Complete

Description

El-Hémer is a village lying to the south of Jarābulus, near the stream of Nahr as-Sājūr. Our map gives an approximate location. Henri Pognon whose report is the only account of the site, gave no details of his sojourn and buildings he saw, but discussed one Syriac inscription carved on an ancient stone and reused in a modern house.
