Description:

Dating to the Late Roman period, the synagogue follows a basilical layout. The structure measures approximately 20 meters in length and 15–16 meters in width. Access was provided by two doorways set in the southern and eastern walls. The interior pavement consists of richly ornamented mosaic floors portraying scenes from the Hebrew Bible.
