Description:

A Syriac inscription accompanied by a cross on the west side of the tower’s interior suggests that the ground level most likely functioned as a cultic space housing a hermit’s tomb. The towers themselves rise to over six meters and are adorned with cross motifs bearing two and three arms. For further reference: Peña, I., Castellana, P., Fernandez, R., 1980.
