Description:

Designated by Butler as House no. V, this residence occupies the southwestern sector of the town. The building presents a colonnaded front and is dated to A.D. 434. A Syriac text was carved on its lintel. The plan was probably arranged as two distinct apartments. For further information, see: Butler, H. C. (ed.), 1920.
