Description:

At Ḫirbat al-Ḫaṭīb, Syriac inscriptions were documented in two places: on the lintel beside the former doorway and on the exterior face of the west wall. These inscriptions pertain to a modest baptistery whose layout is square in plan and which is dated to 532 AD. For further details, see: Butler, H. C. (ed.). 1920.
