Description

At Ḫirbat al-Ḫaṭīb, most extant structures can be assigned to the fifth century, while earlier domestic remains from the second and third centuries are also attested. The settlement occupies a valley at the northern extremity of Gabal Barisa, with numerous constructions extending up the adjacent slopes. Further reading: Butler, H. C. (ed.), 1920.
