Dalton Complete

Description

Despite the absence of systematic excavations at the site, several architectural fragments from Dalton have been recovered and published. These include a lintel carved with a conch motif. A marble post—possibly a chancel element—was also found; it preserves traces of an Aramaic/Hebrew inscription but was not discovered in situ. Further reading: Milson, D.W. 2007.
