Description
Archaeological discoveries at the site—including ritual bathing installations and concealment complexes associated with the First Jewish–Roman War—indicate that the settlement was Jewish. The ancient locality known as Abellin is identified with present-day I'billin, situated in Israel’s Northern District between Akko and Sephhoris.
