Description:

Epigraphic evidence recovered from the church provides the chronological framework for its history: construction in 415 CE, followed by restorations in 442/443 CE and again in 492 CE. In its final building stage, after 490 CE, the complex underwent notable alterations, including the transformation of the eastern portico into a narthex and the installation of a chancel screen before the apse. The monument itself is a basilica arranged with three aisles. To its north are two ancillary chambers, one of which can be identified as a diaconicon.
