Description:
The church was laid out with three aisles, and two rectangular ‘sacristies’ were positioned on either side of the nave’s apse. The primary construction material consisted of basalt blocks. Its floors were covered with richly ornamented mosaics displaying a range of motifs; these mosaics also preserve inscriptions in Greek and Syriac.
